Carlos Fabián Medina, also known as “Fabián”, is a multi-hyphenate artist from Caracas, Venezuela. With a background in Philosophy from UCV (Universidad Central de Venezuela) and physical theatre training from Centro de Creación Artística TET (Taller Experimental de Teatro), Fabián boasts a diverse skill set in acting, movement, creative production, and filmmaking. In Caracas, he trained and worked with directors such as Guillermo Díaz Yuma, Carlos Sánchez Torrealba, María Fernanda Ferro, Juan Souki, Miguel Issa, Orlando Arocha, and Diana Volpe.

Since relocating to Miami in 2019, he has collaborated with directors such as Alexey Taran, Carla Forte, Roxana Barba, Teo Castellanos, Moisés Kaufman, and Michel Hausmann. Organizations like Miami Light Project, Knight Foundation, Miami-Dade County, FUNDARTE, Locust Projects, and Bistoury Physical Theatre & Film have supported his work.

In Venezuela, Medina directed stage productions of “Tom At The Farm” by Michel Marc Bouchard and “Gruesome Playground Injuries” by Rajiv Joseph. Directing credits also include devised original stage performances like "[Not] To Be Reproduced" (Miami-Dade County Auditorium, 2021), "Towards Now" (Miami Light Project, 2023), “Azul de Valencia” (Ascaso Gallery, 2024) and “On The Wire” (Locust Projects, 2024), showcasing his approach to storytelling by mixing theater, dance, film, and biodrama. His recent projects include credits as Director of Photography and Editor for the short film "El Sofá" (Miami Film Festival, 2024) directed by María Corina Ramírez.

In addition to his acting, theatrical, and filmmaking pursuits, Fabián thrives as a freelance creative, videographer, and video editor for narrative, fashion, performance, music, and design-driven projects.
